Abstract
Bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide (TFSI) has been investigated for use as counter anions of iron and nickel tris(2,2’-bipyridine) complexes in high-energy organic redox flow batteries (RFBs). This bulky imide-anion weakens Coulombic interactions between ions by charge-delocalization, thereby improving the solubilities of the metal salts
