SAIT has been working to enhance the science educational environment in the community. These activities first launched in 2000 with a 'Special Community Service Team'. Offering computer, English, and Science classes, the Community Service Team was organized in accordance with each member's specialization. This program was later expand to run a Kids Science Class in 2003, fostering an even wider awareness of and appreciation for science in the community.

The Community Service Team Campaign helps researchers to build relationship with underprivileged elementary school kids in the community, and offers various learning opportunity involving all staff who play a role as science teachers to demonstrate how science touches us in our daily lives.

All staff members and researchers actively participate in organizing and preparing programs. Through these and other programs, SAIT works to improve the educational environment in the community and to do all we can to discover and cultivate our youth with brilliant scientific talents to help build a better society for the future.
